The Rising at Phoenix was originally developed as a long-term lease to purchase community in 2010 by local developer CityWide Development Corporation using equity from the sale of housing credits that had been awarded by the Ohio Housing Finance Agency (OHFA). Additional funding into the original development was provided by the City of Dayton from their allocation of HOME funding from the US Dept of Housing and Urban Development and funding from the Ohio Housing Trust Fund from OHFA. This 33-unit affordable housing development was acquired by an affiliate of County Corp in July 2025. Professional property management services will be provided by Nelson and Associates.
The Rising at Phoenix is a multi-family Tax Credit property. The community has 33 4-bedroom Single Family Homes.
